Hand over my Mouth | Proverbs 30:29-33 | Hindsight is 20/20

Our responses can stir division or they can restore life. Often times we are quick to respond in anger and it produces fights, quarrels, and divisions. We would do well to minimize the impact of our words by choosing to “put our hands over our mouth” by exercising self-control.

Perseverance through Peril | Proverbs 30:24-28 | Hindsight is 20/20

Though small in size, the spider or lizard continue to do the work entrusted to their care. Despite trials and obstacles, they continue to move forward in perseverance. We would do well to learn from the spider or lizard by our own perseverance through Christ and the gospel.

The rock badger is a feeble folk, yet they are wise to find their home in the rocks. We too, as followers of Christ are wise to hide ourselves in the rock, Jesus Christ. He is the Rock of Ages and when hidden in Him, He will protect us and secure us until the end.

As parents, we are to help instruct our children in the ways of the Lord and discipline them in love. As children, they are to walk with prudence and wisdom so that their lives do not lend themselves to death and destruction. In the message, it is our aim to help children and parents walk a path of life, hope, freedom, and transformation to God and His ways.
